As we approach the start of the school year, below is some information about Transportation.
Routing Letters
Last week, families who signed up for Transportation (buses or vans) should have received a letter with their routing information via the United States Postal Service (USPS). If you have not received this letter yet, please call 507.328.4260. Please note that the drop-off times listed are estimated. Thank you for your patience as we smooth out the process in the first few weeks. Note that registration for transportation takes three to five business days to be routed. Students may not receive busing immediately if you register them after August 22.
First View App
Families using Transportation can download the First View app to see where their student's buses are. The district code for the app is M6QE.
Running Late
If your bus is running late, please call First Student, not the RPS Transportation Department. First Students' number is 507.289.4541.
If your van is running late, please call the Transportation Department at 507.328.4260.
DWO (Districtwide Option) Transfer Hubs
Some students may need to transfer buses at a DWO school hub. Staff will be on-site to help students with this process, so they will not be navigating this alone. If you have questions, please call the Transportation Department at 507.328.4260.
